Donald Trump was sentenced to an unconditional discharge in a New York criminal case involving falsified business records. Judge Juan Merchan, who presided over the case, stated that the sentence was the only lawful option and wished Trump “Godspeed” as he assumes his second term as President. Trump maintains his innocence, calling the case a politically motivated “witch hunt” and vowing to appeal the conviction.

Thoughts? Will he win on appeal? Was it done just so he can be called a "convicted felon" for the history books?
